Robert has focused his efforts around designing and building handcrafted rocking chairs and his new ergonomic Barcelona style chair to enhance sitting comfort. He has received two patents on his unique ergonomic wooden furniture designs and crafted numerous other fine pieces of furniture. In 2020, unique music stand designs were added to his collection.

New Design
Ergonomic Barcelona Style Chair
In 2025, Bragg designed his new ergonomic Barcelona style chair to also include the patented (rocking chair) flexible lumbar structural slat features. In addition, for added strength of materials and stiffness, this unique Barcelona style chair frame design utilizes bonded (no metal fasteners) interlocking, close ended lap joints and mortise tenon joints. These hand finished and hand polished chairs are priced as follows:

Original Hardwood Music Stands
Robert Bragg has always been inspired by original, unique woodworking and furniture designs. “In 2020, I lost my best friend – my father, the greatest musician I know,” Bragg says. “I wanted to find a way to honor him and my brother, whose musical influence greatly impacted me. So, I started prototyping a music stand design, which I’m very excited about.
Bragg’s music stands / lecterns are designed and handcrafted from cherry and walnut / tiger maple. The designs include a bent wood heart shaped stand and a bent wood stand with symmetrical bass clefs. After designing and handcrafting the heart shaped stand shown below, a second concept was finished – a stand with symmetrical bass clefs.

Patented Flexible Back Rocker
This unique hardwood rocking chair is handcrafted with complex joinery without the use of metal fasteners. Robert Bragg crafts these cantilever seated rockers from walnut, cherry, ash and red oak. These hand finished and hand polished rocking chairs are priced as follows:

Cantilever Side Table

The cantilever side table was engineered from Robert’s appreciation for the fluid lines of this design. This unique hardwood cantilevered side table is handcrafted with mortise tenon joinery without the use of metal fasteners. The table marries well with the style of his rockers and the new ergonomic Barcelona style chair.

The lumbar lounger was a popular outdoor, collapsible, lumbar supported lounger. The segmented back structure was designed to provide ultimate back support with an appealing aesthetic.
